This garden previously had a central narrow brick path and overgrown plantings. There was nowhere to sit or enjoy the garden. Our design reuses the bricks on site, supplemented with white-washed bricks. We created distinct spaces in which to spend time - a small, plush lawn, a built-in ipe bench lounge area with an ipe deck leading to the garden, and a brick patio dining area that opens up to another seating area hidden behind palms. The plant palette is minimal, and we used lighting to create a warm ambiance. This garden was featured in Sunset Magazine.
