Meadow garden in Glen Park San Francisco. Native grasses as well as drought tolerant grasses were used with Cannas, Abutilon and chocolate oxalis to create this lush planting area. The dry stacked Arizona Flagstone bench adds a warm color to the space.
Cable railings on the steps recall the metal round planters of cold steel in this garden in the Mission District of San Francisco. The metal planters are edible gardens with vegetables that change with the season. The clients prepare many meals from their garden. The gravel patio is interrupted by a curvilinear path of concrete pads. There is a bluestone retaining wall that acts as a bench in the background.
